ContraTwin and Horizontal Dryer System
For production of 10 up to 17 TPH #aquafeed and #petfood, #IDAH offers
combination of #ContraTwin twin-screw extruder and Temperature Zone
Horizontal #dryer.
ContraTwin - a patented #twin-screw #extruder has the way to
control #cooking degree at the shaft support and before die plate,
therefore, with two complementing #screws which positively convey and
mix the feed material and injected steam forward, ContraTwin uses lower
mechanical energy than the traditional #Co-rotating twin-screw extruder.
Lower mechanical energy means lower wear cost and lower energy cost.
Temperature Zone Horizontal dryer- Each temperature zone is
independently controlled for high efficient drying. With unique air flow
from top and from bottom, provides #uniform drying throughout all
material layers. The fully closed insulated dryer wall and #airlock in
inlet and outlet ensure minimum heat dissipation.
