Online Webinar January 2020
IDAH organized a free online webinar was titled “Shrimp Feed Pelleting:
Operating Guidelines.” The webinar was held in January 7, 2020, which
was attended by 40 attendees from China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, and
Vietnam.
Through this two hours webinar, IDAH shared the 40 years
worth of knowledge in shrimp feed production to the diverse audience of
how shrimp feed is produced in Asia Pacific (APAC). In APAC, pelleted
shrimp feed is the preferable process of shrimp feed due to shrimp slow
feeding habit and high palatability as the result of feed smell
preservation. During the webinar, IDAH also explained the production
critical points, the importance of batch process, cooking of the
material by pre-conditioner and post conditioner, and also good packing
method. This webinar also pointed out how to troubleshoot issues that
frequently arise during production.
This online event brings together IDAH expert team to
explain the IDAH machine application in shrimp feed production through
combination of live presentation and Q&A session.
